  • San Donato, Cit Turin, and Croceta are residential areas that offer a more local experience.
  • San Salvario is Turin’s bohemian neighborhood, not that nitty but has nice bars and restaurants.

  • Hotels in Turin near train stations – Porta Nuova and Porta Susa – are also good options.

Located in the heart of Turin’s historic center, a walking distance of attractions such as the Royal Palace, the Egyptian Museum, and must-visit landmarks like Palazzo Madama, Piazza San Carlo, and Piazza Castello.

Hotel Principi di Piemonte | UNA Esperienze

As the name suggests, staying at Hotel Principi di Piemonte is an experience, a  luxurious one. It’s part of Brand’s L.V.X. Collection of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, which says a lot about their commitment to comfort and service.

You will be welcomed by friendly staff, will sleep in large rooms with stylish decor, and will wake up just a 5-minute walk from the Egyptian Museum Torino – Museo Egizio. The central location is perfect for travelers who want to visit Turin attractions on foot.

Enjoy 24-hour service, gourmet food, and a bar that overlooks the Turin city center. Relax at the wellness center with massages and a Turkish bath.

This classy hotel has a great reputation: 9.2/Wonderful from 3.123 hotel guest reviews.

Grand Hotel Sitea

The exquisite Grand Hotel Sitea is located right behind the historical Piazza San Carlo (where they have been shooting a Netflix series).

It’s one of the best hotels in Turin city center because of its infrastructure, hotel staff, and nice location. It’s also near the Egyptian Museum and the Royal Palace.

I can tell you the rooms are very unique and have that posh royal feeling that is so Turin. You get to relax in marble bathrooms with toiletries and slippers, and some with a spa bath.

Pets are welcome!

They have a Michelin-starred restaurant on site and, during the warm months, an abundant breakfast buffet is served in the beautiful gardens.

Royal Palace Hotel & Spa

One of the best places to stay in Turin is the Royal Palace! This superb hotel in Torino leaves nothing behind. That marble staircase is incredible, and you feel like in a movie when walking on it.

Gorgeous spotless rooms, private parking, a restaurant, and a bar. Expect welcome amenities, a fantastic breakfast, and a staff that’s eager to help. And did we mention you get your own butler?!

It’s one of the luxury hotels in Turin closest to Porta Nuova Railway Station, only 600 meters away.

4-Star Hotels in Turin, Italy

Now let’s have a look at the best 4-star hotels in Turin. These are modern and sophisticated places to stay in Turin for business or leisure, conveniently spread out in some of the best areas to stay in Turin, Italy.

Turin Palace Hotel

First of all, don’t get confused, this is the Turin Palace Hotel, completely different from the Turin Royal Palace Hotel we mentioned before. But both are worth staying in.

The Turin Palace makes for an exceptional stay in Turin. The rooms have a clean and classy decor, perfect to relax after a long day of sightseeing.

Free soft drinks from the minibar, bathrobes, and slippers are among the amenities. Kind staff, concierge services, 24-hour reception, and a lovely rooftop bar complete the experience.

The hotel sits very close to Porta Nuova Central Train Station and metro stop, making it one of the most well-located hotels in Turin city center.

NH Collection Torino Piazza Carlina

I love this hotel, especially because it’s in a beautiful 17th-century building. It’s a charming hotel with a modern minimalist decor in the heart of Turin historical center.

At NH Torino Piazza Carlina you’ll find not one but two rooftop terraces with amazing views.

Soundproofed suites equipped with handmade furniture. Fitness center, 24-hour front desk. Fresh breakfast, a restaurant that serves both traditional and international cuisines, and a bar open all day long until 1 AM.

The hotel is close to most of Turin’s museums and Via Roma, the traditional shopping street of the city, and it’s a 10-minute walk to Piazza Vittorio Veneto.

This hotel is one of the four NH hotels in Turin. The brand also has NH Torino Centro near Porta Susa Station, NH Collection Torino San Stefano near Palazzo Reale, and NH Torino Lingotto Congress near Fiat Lingotto.

All of them could be on this list, but the NH hotel at Piazza Carlina is my favorite.

Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Turin Lingotto

This is not only one of the best hotels in Turin, it’s also one of the coolest hotels in the city. The DoubleTree by Hilton is actually in an old Fiat car factory in the Lingotto Turin neighborhood, that was restored into a design hotel.

Located 600m away from the Lingotto Metro Station, DoubleTree by Hilton is a hotel that gives you a different perspective of the city.

Rooms are equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows and allergy-free materials. There’s a café and restaurant, a business center, and the best feature: a running track on the roof – that was a Fiat test track – how cool is that?

You enjoy panoramic city views from the rooftop track, have a nice traditional vermouth at the bar, or grab a bite to eat. The good news is if you don’t stay here, you can still visit the Fiat track and the bar.

There is also a Pinacoteca and a mall in the building, and in front of the hotel is the famous Eataly Torino and the Turin Automobile Museum is nearby.

Contemporary hotels in Turin that are budget-friendly – or friendlier at least. Although these aren’t necessarily cheap hotels in Torino, they do deliver and even impress in several aspects. Let me guide you through this special selection.

At the city center, near Parco Del Valentino and Mole Antonelliana, Opera35 Suite&Studio is one of the boutique hotels in Turin that is close to the Po River.

They have private parking, a terrace, and a bar. Some rooms come with a bathtub, and some units have their own kitchen with a fridge, a microwave, and a dishwasher. You can expect excellent breakfast, helpful staff, and super comfy beds.

During summer or spring, I suggest you choose a room with a courtyard garden view for a fresh breeze on hot days.

It’s actually rated as a 4-star hotel, but comparing its amenities and affordable price, I decided to place in this section of the Turin hotel guide.

Hotel Roma e Rocca Cavour

A fabulous hotel in Torino that has been run by the same family since 1854 – it is one of the oldest hotels in Turin! And guests seem to love it, the hotel is rated as Very Good/8.5 from 8.675 reviews.

With high ceilings, antique furniture, and gardens all around, Hotel Roma e Rocca Cavour is conveniently located across Porta Nuova Station. A 24-hour bar and a wonderful breakfast complete the package. The hotel is near many historic buildings and a stroll away from the beautiful city center.

It’s a unique place to stay in Turin for a reasonable price.

Best Western Hotel Genio

This is the best hotel in Turin for those who want to stay at the perfect city spot for sightseeing and also for traveling without spending much.

There are nine Best Western hotels in Turin, and they are quite close to each other, so why did we choose this one?

Well, it has the perfect location. It’s one of the budget and best hotels near Porta Nuova train station and Via Roma – Turin’s main shopping street with an interesting mix of Baroque buildings and constructions from the Fascist time.

This is the perfect hotel in Turin for those who want to attend a concert or a game at Pala Alpitour, the largest indoor arena in Italy that was built for the 2006 Winter Olympics held in Turin. Just for you to know how big this place is, Eurovision Turin 2022 happened here.

Hostel in Turin, Italy

An extra tip for those who are traveling on a budget or want a cool hostel to socialize:

Combo Hostel

This is definitely one of the best hostels in Turin and is excellent value for your money!

Combo Hostel is located in the Aurora-Vanchiglia district, only 350m from Turin Royal Palace, less than a mile from Mole Antonelliana, and in front of Porta Palazzo Market (Mercato di Porta Palazzo).

The best part is that in a few minutes by tram or bus, you can reach Porta Nuova or Porta Susa stations, and the Dora train station that connects the city to Turin Airport.

It sits in a renovated historical building that offers rooms in a minimalist industrial design, all impeccably clean. Toiletries are provided and the bathrooms are equipped with great showers.

Featuring a shared kitchen, luggage storage, laundry room, fast internet, and breakfast served at the bar.

It’s a hot spot for events in Turin, think of cocktail week events, music sessions, and a bunch of other cool stuff.
